About the package

Why "SPA & relaxation"

SPA & relaxation is a year-round package for couples and anyone who just wants to slow down. Mergen Bike & Ski Resort sits in quiet Niedzica, on Lake Czorsztyn in the Pieniny - away from the hustle, surrounded by mountains and the emerald surface of the lake. It's a great spot for a restorative weekend, especially in autumn and outside peak season, when the area is at its calmest and the colors of the Pieniny are at their best.

The relaxation starts right on the resort grounds: guests can use the outdoor barrel sauna to warm up any time of year. The most luxurious option is the flagship Cabin No. 10 - a cabin for up to 10 people with a private counter-current pool, private sauna, and salt cave, an entire SPA zone just for you. If a private jacuzzi is what you're after, Cabin No. 1 (up to 8 people) has one, along with a terrace and a fireplace in the living room. The remaining cabins (6-person No. 2-9) also offer that wooden cabin feel and access to the resort's wellness facilities.

When you're ready to go further, large thermal complexes are within about 20 km: Terma Bania in Białka Tatrzańska and Termy Bukovina in Bukowina Tatrzańska, with the Szaflary baths about 30 km away - geothermal water, pools, and sauna zones are a great complement to a relaxing stay. On the way, it's worth a quiet stroll to the nearby Zamek Dunajec Castle (about 500 m). We arrange a specific program and any treatments individually, and usually send a quote for your stay within 24 hours of your inquiry.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions - SPA & relaxation

Short, concrete answers for anyone planning a stay.

  • Are the jacuzzi and salt cave available to all resort guests?

No - the salt cave is only in Cabin No. 10 (along with the private pool and sauna) and reserved exclusively for guests of that one cabin. Cabin No. 1 has its own private terrace jacuzzi. Neither of the other 8 cabins (No. 2-9) has access to a jacuzzi or salt cave. The barrel sauna, however, is available to all resort guests.

  • What exactly is included in the resort's SPA zone?

All resort guests can use the outdoor barrel sauna. The flagship Cabin No. 10 additionally has its own private wellness zone: a counter-current pool, private sauna, and salt cave - available only to guests staying in that cabin. Cabin No. 1 has its own private terrace jacuzzi and a fireplace in the living room.

  • Does the barrel sauna operate year-round, or only in summer?

The barrel sauna runs year-round and is open to all resort guests regardless of season. The general-access outdoor pool operates seasonally, from May 1 to October 31 - the only wellness element with a seasonal limit.

  • Which cabin should I choose for a SPA stay with maximum privacy?

If a private wellness zone with a pool is your priority, the best choice is Cabin No. 10 (up to 10 people, 119 m², 4 bedrooms) with its own counter-current pool, sauna, and salt cave. If a private jacuzzi is the priority, choose Cabin No. 1 (up to 8 people) with a terrace jacuzzi and fireplace. In the remaining cabins (6-person No. 2-9), you'll use the shared barrel sauna on the resort grounds.

  • How far are the Bania and Bukovina thermal baths from the resort?

Terma Bania in Białka Tatrzańska is about 20 km away, as is Termy Bukovina in Bukowina Tatrzańska (about 20 km). A bit further, about 30 km away, are the Szaflary thermal baths. All are a realistic day-trip drive during a SPA stay.

  • Is the SPA package available year-round, and when is the resort quietest?

Yes, this is a year-round offer. It's quietest in autumn and on weekdays outside the summer peak - that's when the resort on Lake Czorsztyn has the fewest guests, which makes for better relaxation and full use of the wellness zone.

  • Can I bring a dog or cat on a SPA stay?

Yes, small pets (up to about 30 cm at the shoulder) are welcome at the resort. Keep in mind the private SPA zone (salt cave, sauna, pool) in Cabin No. 10 and the private jacuzzi in Cabin No. 1 are meant for guests, so it's worth mentioning a pet when booking.

  • Is there a quiet hours policy during a SPA stay?

Yes, quiet hours run from 10 pm to 6 am on the resort grounds, and alcohol is not allowed by the general-access pool (fine of PLN 1000 for breaking the rule). These rules further support the calm, relaxing character of the stay.

  • How much does a SPA stay cost, and how do I book?

Prices are set individually - roughly PLN 650-1700 per night depending on the cabin and dates; exact pricing is provided on request. To book, send an inquiry through the form; we usually prepare a quote and program within 24 hours. A 30% deposit is due within 24 hours of booking, with the balance due 14 days before arrival - we don't process payments online.
